Built by an engineer who ships
ZCube8 is Mischa Serlin—a strategic engineering leader who builds products, not slide decks. Fractional CTO for founders who need someone who can architect a system Monday and debug a production issue Tuesday.
I write code, design systems, hire engineers, and make hard technical calls. I've done it leading teams at scale—infrastructure, integrations, revenue-critical products across B2B and B2C—and I do it now for founders who can't yet justify a full-time CTO.
ZCube8 runs two tracks. The product lab is where I build my own SaaS products—AI-powered tools, vertical software, things that solve real problems. The fractional CTO practice is where I partner with founders and teams who need hands-on technical leadership to ship.
Either way, the work is the same: make good technical decisions, build the right thing, and get it into users' hands.
LinkedIn →How I Work
Ship every two weeks
Working software in your hands every cycle. No multi-month builds with nothing to show.
Opinions, loosely held
I pick tools based on the problem. Recent stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Astro, Supabase, tRPC, Vercel, Claude, Deepgram.
Own the outcome
I don't just write code and leave. I own uptime, performance, and the technical decisions behind them.
No surprises
Weekly syncs, async updates, shared repos. You always know where things stand.
Build to hand off
Everything I build is documented and transferable. You're never locked in.

- ▸ Your dev team is stuck and shipping has stalled
- ▸ You need AI capabilities but don't know where to start
- ▸ You're between CTOs and need someone to hold the fort
- ▸ You inherited a codebase and need someone to tell you what you actually have
